Undergraduate Pre-service Teacher Grants 2007-2008
PDK is a member-based education association that advocates for quality public education. The Kent State Chapter is currently giving five $100 Borders Gift Certificates to preservice teachers interested in purchasing children’s books for his/her future classroom.
Criteria:
==> Pre-service teacher must have junior or senior standing
==> Must be an education major

Phi Delta Kappa (Kent State Chapter) Presents:
Fall 2007 Graduate Student Research Scholarship Application
PDK is a member-based education association that advocates for quality public education. The purpose of this research scholarship is to support educational research projects that will directly benefit the students within a school community. Each year, the KSU chapter of PDK will award up to $1,000 for educational research projects (one $500 scholarship per semester). Research scholarship recipients must agree to attend a PDK meeting at a later date to share how the funds were used.
Priority Consideration will be given to:
==> Research projects using materials directly with students in classrooms
==> Current PDK members
If you are a GRADUATE student in EDUCATION and you are interested in applying for a $500 research scholarship, please email this application directly to Maria Shaheen, mshahee1@kent.edu no later than 5pm on Tuesday, October 9th, 2007. Scholarships recipients will be notified by October 20th, 2007.
